Certificate Course

| Eligibility : SSC or equivalent |
| Duration : 1 academic year, 3 times a week, 2hrs per class. |
On successful completion of the course, the student would have done approx 180hrs of French and would have the A2 level according to the European norms.
He would be able to deal with situations in his daily life: - introducing himself, his family/friends, talking about his city/country, the weather, seasons, giving directions, asking for directions, going to the restaurant, market, buying things, buying tickets, making reservations etc. He would also be capable of talking in the past and future tenses.

| Duration : 1 academic year, 3 times a week, 2hrs per class |
Communication skills will be enhanced, advanced grammar - compound tenses, subjunctive tense, relative pronouns etc.

Advanced Diploma - 2 papers (Language and Literature)
|
| Duration – 1 academic year, 3 times a week, 2hrs per class |
| Language – advanced grammar, essay writing and translation. |
| Literature – Two literary works to be studied as prescribed by the university. |
On successful completion of the Advanced diploma, and if the student has a basic graduation degree in any other subject, he can be eligible for MA (French).
