International Conference on ‘The Importance of Medical History; Transnational and cross cultural perspectives on a Multifaceted Discipline’ was organized in collaboration with the Wellcome Trust, U.K. Twenty Three scholars from U.S.A. & U.K. participated in the conference making it a grand success.

The subject of the conference was  Territorial Boundaries and Cultural Frontiers Emerging South Asian Consciousness’ in SIES          College of Arts, Science & Commerce herein academician/delegates invited from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal & others from other states of India (2005 – 2006).
4. The UGC sponsored National Conference on Environmental Ethics for  Sustainable Development held at K.J. Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. Environmentalists like Shri. Sundarlal Bahuguna (Chipko Movement) and Shri. Kishan Mehta were Chief events (2003 – 2004)
5. National Seminar in ‘Naariwad’ (Status of Woman in Literature). It was a multi-linguistic conference that included discussion & presentation on literary contribution in Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi & English literature in University of Mumbai, Kalina.
6. The UGC sponsored National workshop on ‘Fungal Bio remediation’ a multidisciplinary programme, jointly organized with mycological society of India. It envolved research scholars from department of Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Botany, Zoology,  Life Science, Micro-biology &  Biotechnology (2004 – 2005).
7. UGC sponsored National Seminar in Hindi. Title of the Seminar is “Uttershati Ki Hindi Kahaniyan me Sti, Dalit aur Sampr” (2005 – 2006).
