  • Celebrated National Sports Day on 10th of September 2007 by organizing “TUG OF WAR” competition for the students.
  • The “Annual Athletic Meet” (Sports Day) was held on 1st December and 3rd December 2007 at the University Sports Pavilion, Marine lines, Mumbai.
  • A ‘taekwondo’ demonstration was arranged and medals and certificates were awarded to victorious students at the end of the event.
  • Kanchan D Anavkar of FY B.A and Mebel Pereira of FY B.Sc won Gold medals at the State level Ashwamedha-2007 in the game of basket ball. Also Kanchan D Anavkar , Mebel Pereira and Nandini Balakrishnan are selected to represent Mumbai University at South-West Zone and Inter Zonal Inter University Women basketball tournament organized by Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati at V R College, Nellore( AP).
  • Ashwini Manjrekar of TY B.Sc has the following achievements for her credit                          
    1. Silver Medal in high jump:Univ of Mumbai
    2. Bronze Medal in 400m hurdle:Univ of Mumbai
    3. Bronze Medal in 100m hurdle:Univ. of mumbai
  • Khandarp G Sharma of Msc (Zoo) has the following achievements:
    1. Gold medal in power lifting:Univ of Mumbai
    2. Silver medal in weightlifting:Univ of Mumbai
  • Alankar Pathare of XII Sc won 3rd prize in shotput tournament conducted by District Sports Council (Division level).
  • Aditya Mhaskar of  XII Sc participated at the State level Malkhamb tournament.
  • In athletic our student Mr. Alankar Pathare of XII Science, C – 50 bagged IIIrd place in division level shot put competition.
  • Our girl student Mrs. Aneri Nikhilesh Chaudhari of XII Arts A – 7 participated in shot put and discuss throw in division level competition.
  • Our student Mr. Aditya Avinash Mhaskar of XII Science D – 50 bagged IInd rank in state level championship in Malkamb and he is selected for our National team.
  • In football conducted by Junior College Sports Association boys team reached 3rd round and girls team reached semifinal.
  • In badminton boys team reached Quarter final in JCA and girls team reached quarter final both in JCA and DSO.
  • Our student Mr. Natraj Balsubramanym XII Sci, F – 41 played for divisional level chess competition.
